Fixing non-functional mouse/keyboard
Source: https://web.archive.org/web/20130311140924/http://www.oqotalk.com/index.php/topic,4866.0.html I've had this occur several times on different OQOs and this reset of the "Embedded Controller" seems to potentially resolve a frozen track point or unresponsive keyboard: 1. Boot into the...

02+ 2GB Memory Upgrade - A Better Attempt
Full album with a few extra pictures located here: https://imgur.com/a/pGDEM6D . Was asked by a community member to attempt a 2GB upgrade on this 1.86ghz 02+ unit (most of the early EVT models were built with 1GB modules to keep costs down during prototyping). Posting the link (and backup archive.org link) here for future reference. I've also got backup copies of the drivers from the site which I'll eventually get around to ...

CF Card Upgrade and Windows 7 Install on 01+
In the interest of SCIENCE! I wanted to see what would happen by loading Windows 7 onto the 01+ in combination with a CF card. Would it be even remotely useable? Narrator: No, not really, but it was fun anyway. You'll need a CF to 1.8" 50 Pin IDE adapter, sometimes referred to as a "Toshib...

Model 01 and 01+ Battery Reconditioning Guide
https://i.imgur.com/oAz0PI6.jpg The battery cover disassembles via several metal clips along the edges of the battery housing. They can be easily popped up using any small flat tool. https://i.imgur.com/XLe7crE.jpg The factory battery uses two 3.7V cells. Note that the RIGHT tab on each battery rep...
